History of United Shutdown Safety
United Shutdown Safety is a division of United Safety, Ltd, a world leader in industrial safety solutions located in Alberta, Canada. Since 1987, United Safety has expanded its facilities throughout Western Canada and internationally, taking their industrial safety expertise around the globe.
United Safety’s beginnings were in the Alberta sour gas fields where they provided safety equipment and services to oil and gas exploration and production companies. In the late 1980's United began working in the offshore drilling industry and other industrial operations.
Today, United Safety's services include plant turnaround safety management, hazardous protective safety equipment, outage safety management, drilling safety, rig-less well operations safety, and pipeline operations safety. With recommendations from some of the world’s largest companies, United Safety is often the safety provider of choice in some of the most remote and challenging locations in the world.
